As our Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Hawkeye’s operational strategy, optimizing processes, overseeing project delivery, and supporting our continued growth in the energy efficiency and smart building technology sectors. This is a full-time salaried position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operational oversight across engineering, project delivery, metering, and automation initiatives.
  • Develop and refine operational processes, policies, and workflow standards to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support long-term strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Drive KPI-based decision-making through performance analytics, project metrics, and operational dashboards.
  • Oversee resource planning, staffing, workload management, and department coordination.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of energy reviews, automation projects, metering system deployments, and customer support operations.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost-managed project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in operations, engineering services, energy management, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of project management, metering systems, automation/control technology, or energy efficiency solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker experienced with metrics and analytics tools.
