In 2008, Hawkeye Energy Solutions was formed by the dynamic duo of Gary Powers and Aaron Mason. Gary, a well-respected and accomplished engineer of the HVAC design industry and Aaron, an up and coming technological “whiz kid” formed a partnership to address key challenges in the energy metering and HVAC automation industries.
In the formative years of the business, Gary and Aaron realized that energy and utility metering data was under-utilized, unorganized, and poorly visualized. They began working with their clients to help understand how quality metering data could offer insight into energy savings & operational process improvements.
Gary & Aaron soon grew their team into a healthy number of like-minded engineers. Before long, "Hawkeye" became a well-known name as a Master Systems Integrator, especially in university campuses. Being a key part of the customer's team led Hawkeye to develop valuable insight into what was driving plant & building operations.
As a matured company, Hawkeye's vision for the future has never been stronger. We strive to listen to our customer's needs, dig into the weeds to identify solutions, and build tools to optimize repeatable workflows.
